After 2 years Corona breaks the first Melt and the biggest in history with more than 250 live acts.

For Jean it is the first time he goes and he is overwhelmed by the size. For me as a photographer I have already lived on other occasions by the festival, I missed the no sleepers zone. These are times of change.
A whole city with some parking areas, several places to camp with or without a car ,
some luxury houses to rent and a huge festival area with 13 stages, which you can reach from the

Visitors are very varied, from techno fans, to diso lovers, to darkwave fans,
queers and much more... also the age is mixed with an average of maybe 25-35 years old.

The program was as diverse as the crowd and I saw some drag acts,
some techno concerts and pop bands. The smaller stages, e.g.
pornceptual had some problems with the very loud sound from the neighboring stage, but
but overall the sound was very impressive and good. Huge systems on huge stages

The general atmosphere is really relaxed and the people are friendly and not too wild.
Even in the camping areas there was some quietness at night and during the day. The facilities are mostly clean.

But most important is the music .... & the collective. That Melt family is back.xxxxx
